Piece Description
This work explores the theme of ephemeral beauty - such a flower in a vase. The depicted woman and the flower almost seem to be sharing the vase/body. How quickly will their beauty fade? The surreal details (the stem of the flower and the elongated features of the woman) suggest that both might be under a spell… or is the flower casting the spell?
