Hebron Road in Jerusalem is one of the oldest roads in the city. It runs along the Mount of Olives and was traditionally the main link between Jewish and Arab neighborhoods in the Old City. Since the Middle Ages, the Old City of Hebron has been ruled by numerous Muslim rulers and is home to the Cave of the Patriarchs, where the biblical Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are said to be buried. Hebron Road has been home to numerous religious, religious and cultural institutions, including the Hebron Yeshiva, the Jewish-Arab coexistence organization “Building Bridges” and the Arab-Jewish Center for Peace.
